WHITCHURCH-STOUFFVILLE, Ont. -- A 47-year-old man has been found guilty of second-degree murder in the death of his girlfriend, whose body was found inside a burning home north of Toronto.
Police say Paul Kenyon was convicted Tuesday in the death of 46-year-old Marion Deacon.
Kenyon, who has been in custody since his arrest, is due for sentencing on June 25.
Firefighters discovered Deacon's body on March 7, 2010 while investigating a blaze at a home in the town of Whitchurch-Stouffville.
An autopsy determined she died from multiple blunt-force injuries to the head.
