A 64-year-old man is facing charges following a collision that killed a five-year-year old girl in the city's east end last month, according to a release from Toronto police.
Kayleigh Callaghan-Belanger died after being struck by a garbage truck at Cliffside and East Haven Drives shortly before 4 p.m. on March 7.
The suspect is charged with careless driving and turn not in safety in connection with her death.
His name has not been released by police.
He is scheduled to appear in court on June 6.
