A Toronto woman supervising an elementary school lunch break has been charged with assault against five students.
Police were called to Essex Public School, near Ossington Avenue and Dupont Street, on Thursday at about 12:15 p.m. on reports that a lunch supervisor had assaulted several students on school property.
None of the students required medical attention.
Kayla Martinez, 34, was arrested at the school and charged with five counts of assault.
Martinez was to appear in College Park court on Friday morning.
