A young man is fighting for his life in Sunnybrook hospital following a shooting in Flemingdon Park on Tuesday night.
"He's still on life support and in grave condition," Staff Sgt. Greg Cantelon told CTV News on Wednesday evening about the 19-year-old victim.
Homicide detectives are now taking over the investigation, he said.
The shooting took place Tuesday about 11 p.m. near Vendome Place and Grenoble Drive.
Cantelon said he didn't have all the information, but it's his understanding that multiple shots were fired.
However, there is only the one known shooting victim, he said.
There are no suspects at this time, he said.
