Mississauga firefighters responded to a house fire that spread to another residence shortly before 11 p.m. Wednesday near Mavis Road and Dundas Street.
The fire began in the garage of one home shortly before 10 p.m. and spread to the rest of the house.
From there, the fire moved to a second home.
The residents of both homes got out safety.
There is no word on the cause of the fire.
