A Brampton man who was charged with criminal negligence in connection with the death of his 21-month-old daughter has been granted bail.
Frank Brian O'Dea, 42, was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly failing to provide proper medical care for his daughter Victoria.
He was released on $10,000 bail Friday.
Police were called to O'Dea's basement apartment on Pappain Crescent in Brampton at approximately 11:25 on Monday.
When they arrived they found his 21-month-old daughter without vital signs. The toddler was rushed to hospital, but was pronounced dead shortly after.
O'Dea left the courthouse on Friday without speaking to reporters.
He is scheduled to make his next appearance in court on May 25.
