Durham Regional Police are investigating two suspicious deaths in a Hampton residence.
At 11:45 a.m. on Thursday, the service said it was contacted. Officers went to the home -- the village of about 400 is located approximately 10 kilometers north of Bowmanville -- and found two dead bodies, "with obvious signs of trauma."
Homicide detectives are at the scene to assist with the investigation.
Police say that investigators are attempting to contact next of kin.
