A city-wide alert was issued by Toronto police Thursday in the search for a suspect in three recent sexual assaults in the downtown.

Police allege that on Jan. 13 a woman was assaulted in the Danforth and Pape Avenues area. Then in the early morning hours of the next day police allege two girls were sexually assaulted near their homes, also in the Danforth and Pape area.

Investigators identified a suspect on Thursday and publicly released his picture.

Officers are now looking for Nathaniel Green. The 18-year-old is wanted for:

  • Assault;
  • Threatening death;
  • Three counts of assault causing bodily harm; and
  • Three counts of sexual assault.

He is described as being black with brown eyes and black hair in cornrows. Green stands between 5'8" and 6" tall and weights between 180 to 200 lbs.

Police say he is known to frequent Toronto's downtown and the Danforth and Pape area. They advise that Green should be considered dangerous and should not be approached.
