TORONTO -- Celine Dion's eldest child Rene-Charles Angelil has dropped several new rap songs, including two covers paying tribute to the Weeknd.

The 17-year-old son of the iconic Quebecois powerhouse, and her late husband Rene Angelil, uploaded the songs to his Soundcloud account.

Angelil appears on the tracks under the pseudonym Big Tip.

His two Weeknd tributes feature album covers with the Montreal skyline in wintertime.

A third song, called "Never Stop," showcases an aerial view of Las Vegas, where his mother has a residency at Caesars Palace.

Each includes original lyrics retelling Angelil's personal experience as the son of famous parents.

"Move to the desert, sweeter than some dessert, fake homies that deserted me, I do not deserve," he rhymes on "Never Stop," which was posted late Monday.

On "Catwalks," which samples the Weeknd's "Sidewalks," Angelil opens by rapping that he "ran out of tears when I was 16."

He later outlines some of his priorities, saying he puts his family first and his music second.

A second Weeknd cover, of the Toronto performer's early song "Loft Music," follows a similar path, recounting Angelil's experiences in Vegas.

A representative for Dion's management and Caesars Palace did not respond to requests for comment.
