Ken Kostick, the Canadian celebrity chef and television personality who hosted "What's for Dinner with Ken and Mary Jo," has died at the age of 58.

Desi Cabrera, his partner, announced his death on Kostick's Facebook page, writing that the chef had died from acute pancreatitis.

"It's with deepest sadness and a broken heart that I must announce the passing of my life partner and best friend," wrote Cabrera.

Kostick hosted the top-rated Life Network show with Mary Jo Eustace in the late 1990s. He reunited with Eustace in 2008 to host "He Said, She Said with Ken and Mary Jo," which ran on the W Network.

Kostick also wrote several bestselling cookbooks, including "Ken's Soup Krazy" and "Ken Kostick's 3 Easy Steps to Great Meals."
