A Canada-wide arrest warrant has been issued for a 28-year-old Toronto man who faces a number of changes, including attempted murder and aggravated assault.
In a statement released Tuesday afternoon, police say the man was involved in an argument on Oct. 31 at a downtown residence in the Bay Street and Charles Street West area. During the argument, one man was stabbed, police say.
Elijah Roberts is wanted on the following charges:
- Attempted murder
- Aggravated assault
- Assault with a weapon
- Three counts of uttering threats
Police say Roberts is considered armed and dangerous. They say he may be in possession of a knife, and has been known to have access to firearms.
Roberts is described as white, weighing 177 lbs and standing 5'9 tall. He has dark-coloured hair and beard, and tattoos on both arms. Police say he may be wearing a bandage on his head, and may have a bruise on his face.
