TORONTO -- Toronto police say a man is facing several charges after a teenager alerted police to a break and enter at his east-end home.
It's alleged that a suspect broke into a house Monday (in the Queen Street East and Lee Avenue area) but a 14-year-old who was at home called 911.
Police say the suspect was chased from the home by officers who later seized a quantity of marijuana and oxycodone from the suspect.
Police allege the suspect also broke into two houses in early August, stealing a quantity of jewelry and electronics, and attempted to break into a third home in the same neighbourhood.
Shane Walker, 33, faces seven charges, including three counts of break and enter with intent and one count of attempted break and enter.
