Barrie police are asking for witnesses to come forward with information about any suspicious activity surrounding a home where a 55-year-old man was found dead last week.
Police found Roy Edward Hales, 55, dead in a home on Janice Drive, in the city's northeast end, on July 22.
The results of an autopsy revealed that the cause of Hales' death was suspicious, Det. Constable Rob Adam said.
No details about how Hales died are being released while the investigation is underway, but police would like to speak to anyone who is familiar with the home and its occupants.
The home was known to police, he said.
