Police say they have charged one man as another lays in a Sunnybrook hospital bed following a shooting in the Yonge and Finch area Thursday night.
The 40-year-old victim was rushed to hospital at about 8:45 p.m. when a number of shots were fired after an altercation at 415 Willowdale Ave., police say.
His condition has improved to stable, police said.
Bryan Friginette, 31, is charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault and six firearms offences, including possession of a firearm while prohibited and altering a serial number.
Friginette, who turned himself in to police after the shooting, is scheduled to appear in court Friday morning.
