Doug Ford says the family’s annual barbecue will continue, this time at the family home in Etobicoke this coming week.
Doug says people from across the city will be invited to Diane Ford’s home at 15 Weston Wood Road in Etobicoke this Friday at 6 p.m.
It will be the first Ford Fest since the death of late former Toronto mayor Rob Ford. But other Fords are still very active in local politics.
Rob Ford’s nephew, Michael, won a byelection to replace his uncle as city councillor for Ward 2 in July.
And Doug Ford served as campaign manager for Raymond Cho who won a byelection to become PC MPP for Scarborough Rouge-River on Thursday.
