TORONTO - A Toronto man charged with attempted murder after a woman fell from a downtown building on Christmas Eve will be back in court this week.
Thirty-eight-year-old Kevin George Payne made a brief appearance in court Sunday and was remanded into custody until Wednesday.
Payne was arrested after police found a woman lying on a sidewalk near Spadina Avenue and Cecil Street.
Investigators say the woman's injuries suggest she fell from a building.
It's alleged she was also stabbed.
