TORONTO - Toronto police say a 70-year-old man has been charged after an 11-year-old girl was sexually assaulted on a transit bus.
Police say a man started talking to a girl on a bus near Jane Street and Troutbrooke Drive on Tuesday evening.
The girl moved down the bus but the man followed and allegedly sexually assaulted her.
A passenger came to the girl's aid and two transit patrol officers who were at the rear of the bus arrested the man.
Krishna D-Singh, of Toronto, has been charged with sexual assault and sexual interference.
He has a court appearance scheduled for today.
