A 66-year-old woman is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after being struck by a taxi Sunday evening.
Police say the woman was hit around 7:40 p.m. Sunday, at the intersection of Finch Avenue and Martingrove Road, in the city’s north-west end.
The woman was taken to Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, where she underwent surgery.
Police say they are continuing their investigation and have not yet laid charges in connection with the incident.
