Two men are facing charges in connection with a number of historic sexual assaults, one of which involved a three-month-old girl.

The first of the alleged assaults occurred in 1998.

Police allege that a now 38-year-old man and a now 37-year-old man got a 15-girl-year-old girl intoxicated and then prevented her from leaving an apartment. Both men then sexually assaulted the girl, police say.

It is further alleged that in 2003 the now 38-year-old man sexually assaulted a three-month old girl in the Jane Street and Trethewey Drive area.

Police allege that the same man also sexually assaulted a 32-year-old woman sometime this year and threatened to kill her.

The suspect was arrested on July 12 and charged with three counts of sexual assault, one count of sexual interference, one count of forcible confinement and one count of threatening death in connection with the three incidents.

Police say that the suspect lived in the Keele Street and Lawrence Avenue area between 1991 and 1994 and that there may be victims in that neighbourhood who have not yet come forward.

Editor's Note: CP24.com has removed the name of the first suspect initially named in this case. Court documents show all charges against the man were dropped and the case against him was dismissed.

The second suspect, identified as Jermaine Budgeon, was arrested on July 14 and charged with sexual assault and forcible confinement in connection with the first incident.
