CHATHAM, Ont. - Provincial police tipped by a motorist found a transport truck operator driving with a DVD player on the dashboard.
Police say it happened Thursday night on the eastbound lanes of Highway 401 in Chatham, Ont.
The driver, Mostaghimi Tehrani, 58, of Windsor, Ont., is facing a Highway Traffic Act charge of having a television in the front seat.
It is illegal in Ontario for drivers to use any handheld communications or entertainment devices while driving.
