A pedestrian has been taken to hospital after she was struck and injured by a van during the Monday morning commute.
The female pedestrian was struck by a Dodge Caravan travelling westbound on Sheppard Avenue West near Keele Street at approximately 7 a.m.
The woman's condition is unknown.
The driver of the van stopped at the scene of the collision.
Westbound lanes of Sheppard Avenue were closed for a police investigation.
The TTC was diverting its 84 Sheppard/108 Downview/106 York University bus service as a result of the accident, but regular service has since resumed.
