One man has been transported to hospital after being shot in the head in the city’s Jane and Finch neighbourhood Thursday night.
It happened in the Driftwood Avenue and Yorkwoods Gate area at around 10 p.m.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting were not immediately clear.
According to police, a caller reported hearing multiple gunshots.
The victim, believed to be in his early 20s, was transported to hospital with serious injuries, paramedics said.
Police are currently canvassing the area for potential witnesses.
