An Oakville man has been charged after a fight broke out over a parking spot in Mississauga on Boxing Day.

Video of the incident shows a scuffle in the parking lot of the Square One Shopping Centre.

According to Peel police, one person suffered minor injuries during the altercation.

Police say Salman Aziz, 38, now faces one count of assault and one count of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.

Officers said they did not charge three minors who originally fled the scene, and police are not looking for any other suspects.

They say they decided to only charge one person after consulting video and witness evidence.
