WINGHAM , Ont. - A man and woman from Howick Township are dead after their Harley Davisdson collided with a Toyota Corolla on a county road (County Road 86) just west of Wingham.
Huron County OPP say the motorcycle was hit by the car yesterday afternoon when the Toyota pulled out try to pass a tractor trailer.
Investigators say the passenger on the motorcycle, 61-year old Maria Vandekolk was pronounced dead at the scene.
The operator of the bike, 59 year old Gerardus Vandekolk, was airlifted to hospital in London where he succumbed to his injuries.
The 67-year-old Mississauga woman driving the Toyota was treated for minor injuries.
