A man and a woman have died and another person has been rushed to hospital after a car and a motorcycle collided Thursday night.
Peel Regional Police says the fatal crash happened on Burnhamthorpe Road East, just west of Tomken Road in Mississauga at approximately 8:15 p.m.
Const. Lilly Fitzpatrick says the man and woman were riding on the motorcycle at the time of the crash. They were both pronounced dead at the scene.
The person in the car was taken to hospital in stable condition.
Police say Burnhamthorpe Road East has been closed in both direction as police investigate the crash.
