One man was rushed to hospital in critical condition following a collision involving a dump truck in Whitchurch-Stouffville.
It happened in the area of Bloomington Road and 10th Concession at around 7 a.m.
York Regional police said a vehicle travelling eastbound tried to pass another vehicle when it struck a dump truck travelling westbound head-on.
According to police, one man suffered injuries and was airlifted to St. Michael’s Hospital via ORNGE air ambulance.
The man's condition was initially listed as critical but has since been upgraded to non-life-threatening.
Roads nearby to the scene were closed for several hours as police investigated the collision but have since reopened.
