Toronto Police have arrested a man in connection with at least three sexual assaults over a period of two months.

Three women were assaulted between Feb. 2 and March 30, in the areas of Eglinton Avenue and Scarlett Road, as well as Islington Avenue and Summitcrest Avenue, police said.

Police also said they believe the same male assaulted all three women.

All three attacks happened between 2 a.m. and 2:30 a.m., and in all three cases the suspect was unknown to the victims. In all three cases, the man grabbed the women from behind, forced them to the ground, assaulted them, and fled on foot.

Two of the attacks happened shortly after the victims got off TTC buses.

Robert Longo, 23, of Toronto, has been charged with three counts of sexual assault and two counts of choking.

Police said they believe there may have been more victims, and are urging anyone with information to come forward. Tipsters can call 416-808-7474, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-8477 (TIPS), give information online or text TOR and their message to 274637 (CRIMES).

Sexual assault is defined by the Criminal Code of Canada as any form of unwanted sexual contact.
