ORILLIA, Ont. -- Provincial police say an investigation into a complaint about a man attending parades sponsored by the Royal Canadian Legion wearing medals not awarded to him has led to numerous charges.
OPP say as a result of the complaint from the Canadian Armed Forces and the Royal Canadian Legion a 62-year-old man from Orillia, Ont., has been arrested.
Officers also executed a search warrant at the man's home and business and say several items were seized that had allegedly been worn by the man while attending public parades and events.
Investigators allege they also located items related to accessing and possessing child pornography.
OPP say Clayton Donoghue faces a total of 10 charges that include using a forged document, unlawful use of a military uniform, obstructing a public officer, and two charges related to child pornography.
