TORONTO -- Police say a Toronto woman and her dog have died after they were struck by a GO train.
They say the 38-year-old woman was walking her dog (near the Don Valley and Millwood Bridge) when both were struck by a southbound GO train.
The accident happened shortly before 8:30 p.m. Friday.
The woman and dog suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
Police say the woman was with a relative at the time.
