Investigation underway after spate of vehicle break-ins

Police are searching for suspects after more than a dozen parked vehicles were broken into overnight.

The 18 vehicle break-ins took place near Don Mills Road and York Mills Road, in North York.

Officers were alerted to the break-ins just after 3 a.m. Wednesday.

Police have been in contact with owners and are trying to determine what has been stolen.

Forensic investigators have been trying to find fingerprints at the scene.

There is no word on potential suspects.
