Investigation underway after possible home invasion in Vaughan

Police say a man was transported to hospital early Tuesday with non-life threatening injuries after a violent confrontation with four people at his Vaughan home.
York Regional Police received calls at about 4:30 a.m. Tuesday morning regarding the incident on Treelawn Boulevard, near Islington Avenue and Highway 27.
Police said four people had confronted and then assaulted the man in his home. Additional details about the man’s injuries were not immediately available.
Two women and a male child were also home at the time of incident, police said.
Authorities say the four suspects fled the scene. A police investigation is underway.
Several police vehicles were parked outside the Kleinberg home Tuesday morning, and the police canine unit was brought in to assist officers.
