A 26-year-old female cyclist sustained serious injuries following a hit-and-run collision in Brampton late Thursday night.
It happened near McLaughlin Road and Steeles Avenue shortly before midnight.
Police say that a red hatchback car was seen fleeing the scene southbound along McLaughlin Road.
No description has been released of the suspect at this point.
The Major Collision Bureau is investigation.
