A suspect has been charged after a man was fatally wounded at a Toronto Community Housing building.

Police said the incident occurred shortly before 4 a.m., on the 14th floor of a building at 200 Wellesley St., just east of Sherbourne Street.

Police found a 55-year-old man suffering life-threatening injuries. The man was rushed to hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. He was later identified as Toronto resident Tony Millett, police said in a statement Sunday.

Following an investigation, officers arrested 25-year-old David Hargrave. Hargrave has been charged with second-degree murder.

The investigation is ongoing, and anyone who had contact with the suspect before the stabbing is asked to contact police.
