A man's body was found in the Don River while police conducted an afternoon training session.
Few details have been provided, but the Toronto Police Marine Unit said the body was discovered in the river shortly before 5 p.m. on Monday.
Investigators said it appeared that the body had been there for some time.
An autopsy will be performed to determine the man's cause of death.
