Some downtown commuters can expect to adjust their travel routes as the city carries out major construction work at two intersections on Bathurst Street.

The TTC and the City of Toronto are in the middle of track infrastructure, water main and road work on Bathurst Street, at Wolseley Street and Dundas St. West.

Transit service in the area will be affected for the duration of the five-week-long construction period.

The TTC says the work is required in order to bring infrastructure in the area to "a state of good repair."
