Police are looking for two male suspects after a 51-year-old woman was tied up and robbed during a home invasion in Thornhill early Wednesday morning.
York Regional Police say the robbery happened at a home at 80 Woodward Ave., near Steeles Avenue and Yonge Street, shortly after 4 a.m.
Two men armed with knives entered the home, tied up a woman who lives there, then led her through the home, police said.
The men allegedly stole cash and jewelry before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.
Police said the woman's adult son was home at the time, but have not said whether he was also tied up during the robbery. No one was injured.
It is not known why the home was targeted.
Police said the men may have been wearing scarves covering their faces at the time. They're canvassing the area, looking for surveillance cameras that might have recorded the men entering or leaving the home.
The suspects have been described as white men who are approximately 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-8.
