A woman has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after being stabbed at a Zellers department store near Jane Street and Wilson Avenue.
The incident happened around 6 p.m. on Tuesday.
The victim was a loss prevention officer - a person who is involved in deterring shoplifters - in the store located at the North York Sheridan Mall.
She was rushed to Sunnybrook Hospital.
There is no word on her current condition.
