Two men are in hospital after a double stabbing in Mississauga early Tuesday morning.

Peel Regional Police were called to 2334 Adena Crt., near Hurontario Street and Queensway East, shortly after 12:30 a.m.

Two men were found with stab wounds and taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. One of the men underwent surgery, police told CP24 overnight.

Police said the incident may have been a botched home invasion. They were seeking three male suspects, all seen wearing balaclavas by witnesses, but police have not said whether anyone is in custody.

A black dog that belongs to residents of the Adena Court home was scared off during the incident, and police said it is still missing.
