Two men are facing drugs charges after police discovered $123,000 worth of cocaine, steroids, marijuana and ecstasy in Burlington and Hamilton.

The Halton police drug unit reported on Monday that authorities found a man carrying about $3,000 worth of coke after they say he was spotted selling the drugs in both Oakville and Burlington.

Soon after his arrest police say they searched his and another man's home and found 50 pounds of marijuana worth about $100,000, $14,000 worth of cocaine, $5,000 worth of ecstasy, $1,000 worth of steroids and $21,000 in cash.

On the same day police say a man was arrested with a small amount of coke and $4,000 in cash.

Joseph Wells, 29, of Burlington, was charged with two counts of possession of cocaine with the purpose of trafficking.

Anthony Hishmeh, 33, of Hamilton, was charged with a number of offences including possession of cocaine, cannabis, ecstasy and steroids for the purpose of trafficking

Both parties are being held pending a bail hearing.
