Some eastbound lanes are open again after a crash involving a large truck snarled traffic on the Queen Elizabeth Way.

Some of the westbound lanes of the QEW are still operating, but traffic has slowed considerably. Eastbound lanes were being diverted at Bronte Road.

Debris was scattered over much of the roadway after a truck-load of books fell over.

A total of five vehicles were involved, Ontario Provincial Police Sgt. Dave Woodford said.
