Tow truck driver seriously injured in Scarborough shooting
A tow truck driver has serious injuries after he was shot in Scarborough Wednesday night.
Police said emergency crews were called to the area of Markham Road and Sheppard Avenue East at approximately 10:30 p.m. for reports of a shooting.
The victim, whom police said is a man in his 20s, was transported to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
No suspect information has been released at this time and police haven’t said what led up to the shooting.
An investigation is ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information to contact 42 Division at 416-808-2222.
