Toronto Maple Leafs to hold auditions for new anthem singer

Do you think you've got the stuff to belt out the national anthem in front of an audience of screaming Leafs fans?

Following in the footsteps of the Montreal Canadiens, the Toronto Maple Leafs will be holding auditions for a national anthem singer on Sunday for the upcoming NHL season.

Anthem hopefuls will audition before a panel of judges, including regular Toronto Maple Leafs anthem singer and local country artist Kaitlin Kozell.

The auditions will be held on the second floor of Above e11even, a restaurant on 15 York Street. Registration starts at 8 a.m. on Sunday.
