TORONTO - Toronto FC's roster next season won't include Honduras midfielder Amado Guevara, forward Pablo Vitti or midfielder Lesly Fellinga.

Toronto isn't picking up the contract options on the three players when their deals expire Dec. 31, the Major League Soccer club announced Thursday.

"After sitting with (Toronto head coach) Preki, and the rest of the coaching staff, we have decided this is the direction the club would like to go," director of soccer Mo Johnston said in a release. "This leaves all players free to negotiate new deals with other clubs outside of MLS. We wish them all the best of luck in the future."

The 33-year-old Guevara will play for Honduras in the 2010 World Cup, and is his national team's all-time caps leader.

The Honduran playmaker and dead-ball specialist scored nine goals in 45 appearances over two seasons with Toronto FC.

Guevara, the MLS MVP in 2004, had a falling out with Preki when both were with Chivas USA in 2007, with Guevara playing just four games before being loaned to a Honduran team and later signing with Toronto.

Toronto hired Preki as its head coach last month.

According to several reports, Guevara has already signed with his former Honduran club Motagua.

Vitti, from Argentina, scored two goals in 26 appearances in 2009 in Toronto.
