Toronto police say they will release more information to the public tomorrow about a man who was murdered after getting into a fight with a group of people over the weekend.

The 23-year-old got into a fight early Saturday morning on Antrim Crescent, near Glamorgan Senior Public School. Investigators believe several of the people involved in the street brawl were armed with various weapons.

When police arrived on the scene they found the victim lying on the roadway. He was rushed to hospital but died shortly after.

Authorities spoke with several other men who were also at the scene and suffering from minor injuries.

Police say they will hold a news conference Monday afternoon to send a message to the persons responsible for the murder. At that time they will also provide the public with additional information about the deceased man.

Anyone with information about the case is being asked to call homicide investigators at 416-808-7385.
