TORONTO -- A Toronto couple killed in their Florida vacation home last week was laid to rest Monday, as police continue to search for answers.
Rochelle Wise, 66, a popular former day camp director and educator and her husband, David Pichosky, 71, were found dead Thursday evening in their home in Hallandale Beach, Fla., where they spent winters.
Wise and Pichosky, married late in life and grandparents to 11 children, were remembered Monday at Benjamin's Park Memorial Chapel in Toronto.
Meanwhile, police in Hallandale Beach say they are investigating the case as a double homicide, but are still waiting for a medical examiner's report to determine cause of death.
No arrests have been made and police say the motive isn't yet known.
Wise was the director of Crestwood Valley Day Camp in Toronto from 1990 to 2005 and was a preschool vice-principal at Bialik Hebrew Day School.
