HAMILTON, Ont. -- Hamilton Police are investigating an overnight stabbing that sent two people to hospital.
The incident took place just before 2 a.m. Sunday (in the area of Sanford Avenue North and Barton Street East).
Police say there was an altercation after two men were approached by a group of young people.
One victim remains in hospital with a stab wound described as non-life threatening, while the second was treated and released.
No arrests have been made.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
