Ontario police rushed to a field outside Bolton, Ont., on Friday after a van rollover involving six teenagers.

Caledon OPP said six people under the age of 18 were inside a van that rolled over shortly after noon on Friday.

The vehicle was driving along Duffy's Lane south of the Castlederg Sideroad, north of Bolton, when it lost control and went off the road and over a fence before flipping end-over-end into a nearby field.

"At this point, all we know is that we have a vehicle that was travelling south bound on Duffy's Lane, just south of Castlederg. It did lose control. It did roll over numerous times," said OPP Const. Nicole Hanks.

Four people managed to escape the van with only minor injuries. Two others were trapped inside, conscious and breathing, for about an hour, police said.

The six occupants were all taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The speed limit along the road is 60 kilometers an hour and there are signs along the road warning drivers of poor visibility due to man hills and valleys along the road.

"There are a lot of sharp corners, blind corners, up and downs. Drive safe, stay slow and just get everybody there safely," Hanks urged.

Police continue their investigation.
