School, bus cancellations in effect Thursday as Ontario gets hit with snowstorm
A major winter storm in Ontario has the potential for school and bus cancellations on Thursday.
Environment Canada’s weather forecast is predicting up to 15 centimetres of heavy snow and ice pellets to blanket the region.

This is the full list of school closures in Ontario, which will be updated as they are announced.
Toronto District School Board (TDSB) and Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB)
All transportation in the TDSB and TCDSB is cancelled, while schools remain open.
York Region District School Board (YRDSB) and York Catholic District School Board (YCDSB)
The YRDSB and YCDSB have cancelled all transportation but schools remain open to students.
Durham District School Board (DDSB) and Durham Catholic District School Board (DCDSB)
All DDSB and DCDSB schools are open, but transportation is not running in any of the district's four zones Thursday.
Halton District School Board (HDSB) and Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB)
The HDSB and HCDSB have cancelled all transportation and closed schools Thursday.
Peel Region District School Board (PDSB) and Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board (DPCDSB)
The PDSB has cancelled all transportation Thursday but schools remain open.
All DPCDSB buses are cancelled today. All schools are open.
Conseil Scolaire Catholique MonAvenir (Csc MonAvenir)
Csc MonAvenir has cancelled student transportation Thursday.
Csc MonAvenir has closed schools in Niagara, Hamilton, Halton, Kitchener/Waterloo, Wellington, Brant, and Norfolk. Parents can keep track of individual school closures on its website.
Conseil Scolaire Viamonde (CS Viamonde)
CS Viamonde has not yet announced its plans for student transportation or schools on Thursday.
Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board (HWDSB)
All HWDSB schools and admin buildings are closed "due to inclement weather and as a result of cancelled transportation."
All remote, eLearning, childcare, and in-person learning is also cancelled.
District School Board of Niagara (DSBN) and Niagara Catholic District School Board
The DSBN cancelled all transportation in the district Wednesday evening.
Niagara Catholic announced Thursday morning all student transportation will be cancelled and schools will be closed.
