Toronto Police have determined there's nothing to a strange incident in which a man on a TTC bus either said he had a gunshot wound or had showed it off to other passengers.
The incident occurred late Monday morning on the 86A bus at Kingston Road and Galloway Road.
There was some talk that one passenger had seen a firearm, but the bus driver did not report seeing one.
However, Const. Tony Vella, a Toronto Police spokesperson, later told ctvtoronto.ca that it appears the individual who made the allegation was an EDP -- or "emotionally disturbed person."
There is no one being held in custody over the matter, he said.
