A number of road closures and transit repairs will cause commuter delays this holiday long weekend.

Here's a list of some of the road and TTC closures you'll want to take note of:

- Lake Shore Boulevard will be closed in both directions between Strachan Avenue and Colborne Lodge Drive from midnight Saturday to 6 a.m. Sunday to accommodate the Scotiabank Caribbean Carnival parade.

The following Gardiner Expressway ramps will also be closed starting at 1:30 a.m. Saturday:

  • Eastbound off-ramp at Jameson Avenue
  • Eastbound on-ramps at Jameson Avenue and British Columbia Drive
  • Westbound off-ramp at Dunn Avenue

- The two left lanes of westbound Lake Shore Boulevard from Jarvis Street to York Street will be closed for structure repairs until August 20.    

- Gardiner repairs continue to keep two eastbound lanes of the expressway closed from Jarvis Street to the Don Roadway.

- The intersection at Richmond and York Streets continues to be closed as repair work continues on the streetcar tracks. Construction is scheduled to continue until Aug. 17.

- The intersection of Eastern Avenue and Cherry Street will be closed in all directions for TTC track work from Friday at 9:30 a.m. to Tuesday at 5 a.m.

- Starting Tuesday at 10 a.m. the intersection of Spadina Avenue and King Street West will be closed in all directions for TTC track work. The intersection is scheduled to reopen on Aug. 20.
